Great copywriting really speaks to people. It’s clear, engaging and action focused. And it ensures your readers feel valued, listened to and understood.
Need a qualified content writer to elevate your brand?
I’ll craft powerful communications that deliver incredible results for your business.
Are you like most business owners or professionals who feel like they’re running just to keep up? Finding the time to write effective communications can seem impossible.
And if writing’s not your strong suit, you may notice business communications getting pushed further down your to-do list, or failing to achieve the results you’re after.
Get it wrong and you’ll risk missing opportunities to grow your brand and business. Worse still, you’ll risk damaging your reputation.
My approach to copywriting
I believe every communication must be strategic and reflect your business goals and brand values.
To achieve this, I’ll get to know your brand, industry and goals before starting your project.

SEO and Website Copywriting
For your website to rank well in searches, you need to have targeted keywords or keyphrases in your content. This tells the Google algorithms what your page is about. But you’re not just targeting the algorithm; your copy needs to sound organic and engaging to human readers as well. By placing targeted keywords in your website’s copy, your rankings will rise to give your business more visibility to potential clients.

Business Writing
The value of using clear and concise communications with minimum use of jargon has maximum impact. For your business, I can write letters, annual reports, profiles, speeches, style guides, job descriptions and more.

Print Copywriting
In this digitised world, hard advertising still has great value. Whether you need a new brochure or an ad in your local newspaper, I can write engaging, eye-catching copy designed specifically for print media. With an eye for design and the experience to achieve it, I can also design your print media.
How we get started
Complete the contact form

Use the contact form to give me an idea about your needs and how you prefer to communicate. I’ll get back to you within the next business day to see if we’re a good fit and to allow me to ask any questions you may not have thought to answer. If we like one another – yay! – I’ll create a detailed project proposal including a quote and a suggested timeline.
Approve the quote

You’ll look over the quote and let me know in writing whether or not you approve it – without written approval, I won’t start work. Depending on the size and scope of the job, I may send through a commencement invoice (50% to be paid upfront, 50% at completion), but this is something we will discuss in advance. Once you’ve approved the quote or paid the commencement invoice, consider your project locked in!
I’ll dive headfirst into research

It all depends on the project – if you need rebranding or refreshing, I’ll scour your digital and print branding to find ways to make your branding more consistent. I’ll also look into your target market and discover what would most appeal to them.
If your project is an ongoing blog, I’ll find out everything I need to know about cat homes, tree lumber or the business of selling baked goods on Instagram – or, you know, whatever fits your business! I’ll check in with you to confirm I’m on track and ask any further questions during this time. By the time I’m done, I will have an intimate understanding of your business and what kind of copy will make it thrive.
I’ll write your copy

My quote will include two rounds of rewrites, so once I send you the first draft, it’s your job to read it over carefully to ensure it meets with your expectations. This not only means making sure I’m getting your message across, but that I have the tone right. This is your chance to tell me anything you don’t like, so be completely honest – it won’t hurt my feelings!
We’ll finalise the copy together

I’ll send you the final version of your copy. At this point, I will also ask you for a true and honest testimonial. After that, it’s all yours! Woo-hoo!
